I completed a 10 day course at North Fork, California some three months back and like many of you reading this blog I had a great experience with Vipassana. Now that I’m back home I really don’t want to lose what I’ve gained. I’ve been doing two hours of meditation a day since I left the course two months ago. What I want to say to anybody out there who may be worried about losing the technique, don’t worry you won’t so long as you keep up the practice. I can’t always get to the same level as I could at the course but don’t sweat it. Stay motivated, keep watering that plant like Goenka says. You are progressing every day step by step. Often times it’s hard to measure our own progress, how much we’ve changed but it’s happening, just have faith.
