Appeal to participate in survey related to research on Vipassana meditation.

As mentioned in my last post, Currently I am conducting an independent research on a very interesting subject – ‘ Role of Vipassana meditation in enhancing Emotional Intelligence’.

The survey for validating the hypothesis of research is online now. I am banking on all the Vipassana practitioners because responses of Vipassana practitioners really help me in seeing difference between how response of practioners differ from response of non-practitioners. Please support this initiative with maximum responses.

The survey is aimed at understanding awareness of people of their own emotions/ thinking/ feeling, response mechanism of people in certain situation and role of empathy in their behaviour.

I would like to kindly invite to take this survey which has only 7 questions and would take only 11 minutes ( I bet it won’t take longer, after all I am an Industrial EngineerJ) to complete.

Below is the link of the survey, please participate to become part of this groundbreaking research.

To test the hypothesis at least 1000 responses from diverse backgrounds are required, therefore I kindly request to circulate this mail to as many diverse people as possible.

I am expecting your cooperation in this noble cause. Thanks in advance for your time and honest responses. Please do not hesitate to revert me in case of any hiccup or in case you want to know more about this initiative.

About Ryan Shelton

While I'm currently married to a beautiful woman while teaching physics at Padua Academy, these descriptors fail to capture the totality of my adventurous life. I have hiked over 1700 miles, traveled to 5 continents, managed a bakery, started a meditation center, counseled troubled teens, attended Duke, UNC, and Harvard, protected forests as a wildland firefighter, volunteered thousands of hours with Americorps, rafted the Grand Canyon, SCUBA dived on the Great Barrier Reef, and continues to find new adventures. I hope my writing encourages you to pursue your dreams and be the best version of yourself while supporting your communities to work together to solve the current challenges in our world.
