Its been two weeks since I started sharing this blog and I’ve been amazed by the interest not only from the USA but from around the world. I’ve received 922 hits total and I’ve posted the by country hits below. The US is 66% but the top 5 countries are from 5 different continents and there are 30 countries total. That’s amazing to me. It’s great to go from feeling isolated to instantly feeling like part of a global community so I wanted to share.
This also gave me the idea to create an old student map where old students could place a marker in their home city and leave an email address so other meditators in that area could contact them. This blog site won’t allow me to publish the map directly on my blog but I found a site that’s very easy to use.

To add your personal marker to the map:
- Click on the link above.
- Click on the “Add” tab in the upper right corner.
- Enter the Goenka oldstudent website password.
- Enter whatever personal information you want to include. I added my full name, my email address, and the city I live in.
- That’s it!
